JTLR consists of group members MC Jonny T & Lyric Richardson. The two combine elements of Rap, R&B, Hip Hop, and Pop-Soul. JTLR is a musical experience with throwback nods to feel-good R&B vibes and sensible rap lyrics. If the 80's and the 90's had a child, its name would be JTLR.
JTLR were Grammy contenders for their single "What I'm Made to Do" for 2020. The single caught the attention of voting members of the Grammy Committee. The group has also secured international and retail store radio airplay for their Christmas single "The Holidays." The song could be heard in Hilton Hotels, McDonald's, Taco Bell, and Subway stores domestically and abroad.
Lightning struck twice for JTLR with the success of another holiday song, Make It Feel Like Christmas. The single found airplay on Music Choice, iHeartRadio's family of stations including Los Angeles based KOST 103.5FM. The song was remixed, remastered and re-released on October 31, 2022 for the 2022 Holiday Season
The duo produced the new single from WeTV reality television star Jamie Lopez. Her song Diva serves as the music played during the opening credits for the show scheduled for 6 seasons. Supersize Salon premiered March, 2022.
JTLR recently released singles that feature Snoop Dogg and Sean Kingston.
